Hydro Jetting in Maricopa, AZ

High-pressure water cleans the full inside of your drain and sewer lines, removing the grease, scale and sludge that cable machines leave behind.

What Is Hydro Jetting?

Hydro jetting is drain cleaning with water. A hose with a special nozzle is fed into the line through a cleanout. The nozzle sends water forward to break up the blockage and backward at an angle to scrub the pipe wall and pull the hose through. Loosened debris is flushed down the line and into the sewer.

A cable machine opens a hole through a clog. A jetter cleans the entire pipe, wall to wall. That difference matters when the problem is a coating, such as grease or scale, instead of a single object. After jetting, the line is as close to its original diameter as cleaning can make it.

When Hydro Jetting Is the Right Choice

Recurring Clogs

The same line has been cabled more than once and keeps slowing down.

Heavy Grease

Kitchen lines and restaurant drains coated in hardened fats.

Hard Water Scale

Mineral deposits narrowing the pipe, common with Maricopa water.

Sand, Silt and Debris

Construction sediment or monsoon runoff washed into the line.

Small Roots

Fine roots at pipe joints can be cut and flushed with the right nozzle.

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled jetting keeps commercial and problem lines open.

Is Hydro Jetting Right for Your Line?

Jetting is powerful, but it is not the answer to every clog.

Jetting is safe for PVC and ABS pipe in good condition. It is not used on a line that is broken or collapsed, which is why a camera inspection comes first. For businesses, see commercial drain cleaning.

How Long Does Hydro Jetting Take?

A typical residential jetting job takes about one to two hours, including the camera inspection before and after. The time depends on the length of the line, how heavy the buildup is and how easy the cleanout is to reach.

You do not need to leave the house, and there is no digging. The equipment stays outside, and the hose enters the line through the cleanout. When the work is finished, you can use your plumbing right away.

On a healthy line with good habits, results can last for years. Lines with a belly or heavy grease use benefit from periodic maintenance.
